Our story starts back in 1989 when our late grandfather, Joe Villemarette, aka Patio Joe, opened Patio Garden Ponds, the state’s first pond retail store. In 2003, the family retired from the brick and mortar retail store. Now, we serve the OKC metro area as the city’s premier pond contractor, Oklahoma Ponds.
Today, Jay Villemarette Jr. leads Oklahoma Ponds. He began his water gardening and koi career at just 15 years old when Patio Joe gave him his first job working in the nursery and helping customers with their pond questions. The knowledge and experience Jay received as a teenager working with his grandfather was the beginning of a lifelong obsession with garden ponds and koi care. Jay is now a Master Certified Aquascape Contractor and his team is ready to build you your perfect pond!

Oklahoma Ponds sales provided an estimate and the number of days it would take their crew to clean our neighborhood pond. I met and talked to the crew, there were at least 3 vans with equipments and they all showed up early morning and cleaned the pond very well within the schedule. The Territories neighbors were happy to see a cleaned pond after 6 years. I recommend Oklahoma Ponds and we’ll definitely use their services, again.
A few months back we decided to discontinue our koi pond and re-home our prize fish. For six months the pond laid vacant and neglected until we got the notion to repurpose it into a pondless water feature. After checking around on what the cost of that might look like, we were impressed with Oklahoma Ponds offer to keep our pond water feature intact by performing a thorough clean out and restart it first to assess if the feature was still operational and usable. To make a long story short, today we are happy with the services of Oklahoma Ponds to get us back up and running. We are back in business y'all, and happy we made the decision we did, thanks to Oklahoma Ponds.
Alex was very personable and checked out the bubble rock in a timely manner. Cleaned the filter and moved some of the heavier rocks so I can access the pump if I need to. Very nice young man.
I have a large 21 year old pond. Have used Oklahoma Ponds for annual maintenance and pump replacement for several years now. I am an experienced pond owner but can rely on their expertise when I have a question. Always respectful and always go the extra mile. Today, for example, I had a plant pulled out of the edge of my pond. Roots moved some rocks. Tech took the time to make sure the rocks were secured back in place to prevent a leak. I always see this kind of attention to detail. I signed up for their monthly maintenance today. I know they will do a great job.
After incorrect repairs twice I was told I need to re-plumb my pond. I called Ok Ponds, Colby properly fixed pump hose in 30 minutes.
I am BEYOND satisfied & happy with Oklahoma Ponds. 1st, Madeline always contacted me back quickly & very helpful & friendly. 2nd, technician Colby also responded very quickly, very informative & friendly. He showed up on time & explained the complete process & got right to work. When I got back from running errands, the approx 18' x 14' koi pond looked so beautiful. He went above & beyond. And, they beat their competitors prices. All our koi pond needs are WILL be serviced through Oklahoma Ponds. I posted before photos. I only took video of the after & i can't figure out how to attach.
